      • Where will applicant’s boards be mailed?
            • To:      The Certification Representative. The address will be in the Certification Documents PDF.

        • What dates are for mailing?
            •  All boards to be RECEIVED BETWEEN: September 12 and September 26,  2025

        • How can I order the Design & Instructions, and how will it be delivered?
            • You can order the Design & Instruction online from the website.

            • All Instruction Documents will be emailed to you as a PDF. Orders are processed every Friday.

            • A paper copy design(s) will be mailed to you via USPS, starting in March, 2025.

        • Where do I pay the entry fee and mail back fees?
            • You can pay online on the Certification website. Mail Back Fees will be available late August, 2025.

        • Paper can now be used as an alternate surface for the MDA Floral. Is leafing still required?
            • Yes, the requirements are the same as for other surfaces.

        • I am using paper as my surface. Must the back of the board be finished?
            • The backs of all boards must be finished. Do not cover the back of your board in any way.

        • Must I use a mat if I paint on paper?
            • No. Do not use a mat.

            • A spacer must be used between the paper and Plexiglas.

        • Now that the tin trays are no longer available, what surface can be used for the MDA Stroke design?
            • A Masonite panel is recommended.

        • I have a tin tray, may I use it?
            • Yes, both surfaces will be judged.

        • How can I prepare for Certification?
            • Watch Videos on the Certification website.

            • Attend the Certification online classes.

            • Contact the Chair to request a Zoom meeting with a Certification judge if you applied last year, 2024.

            • Practice, practice, practice.
